The AESP01 course is developed by Dr Carolien MunstersTogether with internationally established competitor Chris Sorensen, she founded the Equine Integration initiative. The AESP course is an ANIVADO Level 3 course. The content of this course may also function as a preparation for “live courses” for professionals organised by Equine Integration. Dates for live courses are expected to be announced soon. More information about this online course is listed in the course details

This Level 3 ANIVADO course is aimed at equine professionals with higher professional education or who have an experience level equal to this. The course is also of interest to BSc & MSc students who want to learn more about applied sport physiology of the horse. This course translates theory into practice. We refer to the Basic Sport Physiology course (Dutch/English/Spanish) for those who would like to study this topic (first) on the foundation level.

The Applied Equine Sport Physiology (AESP01-EN) involves over 320 minutes of video material (lectures and example videos).  Dr Carolien Munsters explains how to interpret heart rate measurements using a variety of example videos of exercising horses.

After purchasing the course, you have 210 days to complete the course.

This course is entirely in English. English and Dutch subtitles are available for the videos.

B2B solutions

The ANIVADO platform is designed to allow for flexible and affordable studying. This offers a great opportunity to work in collaboration with institutions or companies that may not always be able to employ a subject specialist (e.g. equine nutrition scientist) to pass on high-quality knowledge, effectively to students (or for internal CPD). The ANIVADO platform can connect with other learning management systems. Therefore, we are happy to discuss B2B solutions with educational organisations that would like to offer this course (or other ANIVADO courses). Please, contact ANIVADO for Group/Institution Rates. Bespoke Assessments are also possible.
