Basic & Applied Sport Physiology courses

How to train horses and how to determine the intensity of training? The course Basic Sport Physiology of the Horse by dr. Carolien Munsters (Moxie Sport/Equine Integration) provides answers to these questions at ANIVADO Level 1-2. The course deals with the basics of equine sport physiology and introduces the use of the heart rate monitor and interpretation of data to optimise your training program. Start today with Global Equine Nutrition I!

This course is aimed at an international audience which already has a good basic understanding of equine nutrition and feeding science, the principles of equine digestive physiology, digestion, feedstuffs, nutrient analysis and feeding systems.

Now also available: Global Equine Nutrition I – Part C: Basic Ration Evaluation

    Third slide
Equine Clinical Ethology: Cribbing & Wind sucking

Cribbing and wind sucking are experienced by many owners and veterinarians as one of the most problematic equine stereotypies, which is perceived as virtually unable to be cured. The course is given by Dr Machteld van Dierendonck, who works as a behaviour specialist, scientist and practitioner in the field of (equine) behaviour and welfare for the last 15 - 20 years.
